Description
Clytemnestra murdered her husband, Agamemnon, upon his return from the Trojan War. Years earlier, he had sacrificed their daughter, Iphigenia, to ensure favorable winds for his fleet. Fueled by grief and righteous fury, Clytemnestra plotted his death as divine retribution – not only for her daughter’s life, but for the long legacy of violence and betrayal in their house.
