How many years of design experience do you have?
I am lucky enough to have 5+ years of experience in general design, 4+ years of experience in graphic design, and 10+ years in the arts.
How do you approach a new project?
I approach new projects by getting to know my client and their needs first. If a strong conceptual direction for a project is not reached, then designing visual elements is moot! I want to know what’s important to you and your brand, build some strong conceptual ideas, then move on from there.
What do you value most as a designer?
I value curiosity, and making mistakes. The thing that separates a good designer from a great one is the willingness to make mistakes and learn from them. I love to learn, and I learn something new from design every day.
